One of my friends, Raymond, has written the script or the novel for the movie called The Heroes. The movie will be widely released in late fall of 2006. Beresker's/Ronney's Blog: "...Majesco is seriously considering the continuation of Advent project. No hopes yet but it will all become clear by the end of spring 2006. Someone will then put a note on the official forums. But I have to admit that Majesco did not like its last association with Glyphyx so there is a chance that we won’t start a new project with them (a big one). The release of Advent Shadow was cancelled few months ago but as I told everything has changed. Now Advent Shadow is scheduled to be released next year. And by the way thank you Robin for your fair review ... "

My Review of Aeon Flux the game & movie:

THE MOVIE
I did not really like Aeon Flux movie since the art & costume design was really bad. There was also so much boredom in it. Music and acting was fine but there were so much wasted moments that make this movie a failure. Charlize should not have really received that $10 million cause she does not do much in this movie. All in all, the story was terrific and script was even better. Actors, The story and script are the only things passed on to the game so fortunately game does not suffer from what the movie does.

AEON FLUX THE GAME
Let’s start from the graphics: The graphics were entirely very well done. Environment, buildings, guns, and gadgets all look gorgeous and colorful. Characters are detailed and the animation is very good.

The major reason why you should check this movie out is because of its extremely great cinematics. Cinematics are very well made and they look awesome – just like Final Fantasy. Music and voice acting in those cinematics are just awesome. And I have to admit that there are quite many of them in the game.

Music, voice acting and sounds were very well done.

Gameplay is great and smooth. Acrobatic moves are very fun to use and make the game look spectacular. The only negative thing was one of the guns (M5RT) it was so hard and annoying to use that sucked the fun of one level. Visual effects and control of that gun (only) are very bad and frustrating. In addition some cut scenes are dull.

The story and script both are superb. I could easily say that no game (ever yet) has had a story and script better than Aeon Flux. Both were done by Hollywood experts.

As a result: I strongly recommend you to buy this game.
If you are a fan of original Aeon Flux you owe it to yourself to buy this game.
If you are a fan of Aeon Flux Movie you still owe it to yourself to buy this game.

On the positive side:
+ cinematics are superb. Cinematics’ graphics are extremely great and detailed.
+ Extremely great character designs.
+ Cool guns and gadgets
+ Originality of the story and script
+ the story and script both were done by Hollywood and thus they give this game a terrific meaning
+ Good & fun game play
+ Outstanding voice acting (all actors from the movie)
+ Charlize Theorn’s first game
+ it is loyal to the MTV animated series

On the negative side:
-one of the guns was really annoying to work with
- some visual effects in one level was disappointing
- Some cut scenes were dull
- Some levels do not provide you with enough bullets

Aeon Flux will be released widely on November 15th of 2005. It is available on Playstation 2 and Xbox only. This game is definitely going to be one of the smartest action games released this year. Here is some critical info about the game and some cool concept arts. Cool guns with cooler designs.
